Carpathia

Carpathia is the center of Eurasia, the throne of Terra, and the hub of Sol. Carpathia was the third and last consolidated federation of Terra, grown from the neglected margin between the European Union and the Han Protectorate after the Eurasian Empire and America fell to ruin. It was in the former state of Romania that Gordon Fromm discovered Absitolide in -23 BK seeding the opportunity for the reportedly accidental summoning of the Estel Gate. The gate breifly bombarded that mountain region with Danzig Radiation creating an Absitolide feedback singularity fundamentally altering the locale and opening a new age of discovery and intrigue. In succession, Carpathia became a scientific and psychological curiosity for the Makers, a throne for the Chapel, an engineering center for the Wizards, a power house and economic nexus for Terra, a mecca for the Patriarchiat, a space port for pioneers, and an urban wasteland for the thralls that remained.
